The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sunthorn Kaewwila, Director of the Office of Skill Development 9, Phitsanulok, who inaugurated the training under the Workforce Potential Development Project to support wage payment based on labor skill standards. The activity focused on enhancing the capabilities of Thai welders to an international level through skill-upgrading training. The course, titled MAG Welding of Carbon Steel Plate Butt Joints in Accordance with International Standards, consisted of 18 hours of training conducted from 5–9 January 2569 (2026) at the Institute of Skill Development 9, Phitsanulok. The program was conducted by Mr. Supoj Amsuk, Senior Workforce Potential Development Specialist. Worachart Group Co., Ltd. supported the project by providing machinery and personal protective equipment for use during the training.

Ms. Suntaree Chaipichit, Director of the Ang Thong Skill Development Office, presided over the opening ceremony of the 18-hour skill upgrading course “Manual Metal Arc Welding, Level 1.” This is part of the labor potential development project to support wage payments based on skill standards (an initiative to upgrade Thai labor to meet skill standards for global competition) to develop the knowledge, capabilities, and metal welding skills of employees in various establishments.

The program was conducted by Mr. Narongsak Thothong, with Worachart Group Co., Ltd. participating in the support and training of MIG welding machines, including a giveaway of T-shirts during the event.

Ms. Suntaree Chaipichit, Director of the Ang Thong Skill Development Office, presided over the opening of the “Assembly and Maintenance of Steel Products” training course. This initiative is part of the project to enhance skills for independent workers and specific target groups to increase career opportunities, held at the Sawaeng Ha Savings Cooperative, Sawaeng Ha District, Ang Thong Province. The program was conducted by Mr. Natee Dokthian, with Worachart Group Co., Ltd. providing MIG welding machines for use in this training.

Ms. Rotjana Prajongsan, Senior Skilled Labor Development Officer and Acting Director of the Sakon Nakhon Skill Development Office, presided over the training for the Labor Potential Development Project to support wage payments based on skill standards. The activity, "Developing Thai Welders to International Standards," featured a skill-upgrading course in "MAG Fillet Welding according to International Standards." This 18-hour training took place from December 15 - 17, 2025, at the Welding Workshop, Sakon Nakhon Skill Development Office, Huai Yang Subdistrict, Mueang Sakon Nakhon District, Sakon Nakhon Province, in collaboration with Worachart Group Co., Ltd.

Mr. Samat Pattamasukhon, Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, presided over the opening ceremony of the "FUTURE SKILLS: Developing Skills to Transform the Lives of the Workforce" event at the Samut Prakan Skill Development Institute 1, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province.

Mr. Thetsakan Khamdee, a Professional Level Skilled Labor Development Officer, observed the training under the Labor Potential Development Project to support wage payments based on skill standards. The activity, "Developing Thai Welders to International Standards," was held at the Nong Bua Lamphu Skill Development Office, Mueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province.

Ms. Saichon Tan-amnuai, Director of the Loei Skill Development Office, presided over the opening of the training for the Labor Potential Development Project to support wage payments based on skill standards. The activity, "Developing Thai Welders to International Standards," featured the course: Manual Metal Arc Welding International Fillet Welder (ISO 9606-1), held at the Loei Skill Development Office, Mueang Loei District, Loei Province.

The Ang Thong Skill Development Office organized the National Skill Standard Test in Manual Metal Arc Welding, Level 1, for 11 employees from various establishments at the Ang Thong Skill Development Office.

Dr. Chalat Uithawonying presided over the opening ceremony of the Vocational Skills Competition in Welding and Materials Testing (Certificate level) and Advanced Welding and Materials Testing (High Diploma level), held from November 30 to December 3, 2025, at Kanchanapisek Mahanakorn Technical College, Min Buri, Bangkok.

The training was held from November 18–20, 2025, at the Ratchaburi Skill Development Institute 4.
